Sonsalla Land Surveying is owned and operated by Lucas Sonsalla, who is a Professionally Licensed Land Surveyor in the State of Wisconsin. Lucas has over 22 years of experience in the surveying profession, 16 of which have been as a Licensed Professional. Except for a few years attending college, he has lived in the Trempealeau area his entire life making him very knowledgeable of the local area and history, which is essential in the surveying industry.

Lucas graduated on the honor roll from Madison Area Technical College in May of 2002 with an Associates Degree in Civil Engineering and Land Surveying.  During his college years, Lucas worked as a surveyor's assistant throughout the summer to get some hands on knowledge.

 

After college, Lucas moved back to the Trempealeau area and began working full time as a land surveyor under the tutelage of a locally well known and respected Professionally Licensed Surveyor with over 40 years of experience at the time.  Working under his guidance for 12 years, Lucas was able to gain incredible knowledge and techniques to utilize in performing survey work.

Today, Lucas resides near Trempealeau with his family and maintains a dedicated passion for the surveying profession.  He genuinely enjoys performing surveying services and delivering an accurate, quality product.

Lucas is not currently licensed in Minnesota but plans to obtain his Professional License in the near future.
